Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Eligibility, required fields, and local rules for Australia documents.

What is required on an Australian payslip?+

Under the Fair Work Act 2009, an Australian payslip must be issued within 1 working day of pay day and must show gross and net pay, pay period, hourly rate, PAYG withholding, superannuation contributions (11.5% from July 2024, rising to 12% by 2025), ABN of the employer, and the employee’s name.

Is superannuation shown separately?+

Yes. Super is a compulsory employer contribution paid on top of gross wages, not deducted from them, but it must appear on the payslip. StubGenPro shows it in the deductions area for visibility — treat the amount as informational.

Which currency and language does the Australia paystub use?+

The Australia template renders in Australia using AUD (A$) and the DD/MM/YYYY date format. Amounts follow the en-AU locale, so thousand and decimal separators match local convention.

Which pay frequencies are supported for Australia?+

Australia paystubs support: weekly, biweekly, monthly. This reflects standard payroll cycles used by local employers.

Which deductions appear on the Australia paystub?+

Default deduction lines: PAYG Withholding, Superannuation. Every label and amount is editable so you can match your real payslip exactly.

Which tax and identifier fields are required?+

The Australia template asks for: TFN (last 4), ABN. Enter values from your employment documents — StubGenPro does not validate them against government registries.
