How to get your Target pay stub
Portal, login steps, common problems, and what your Target pay stub includes — updated for 2026.
Target team members access pay stubs through the Workday portal (target.com/workday) or the Workday mobile app. Sign in with your team member ID and password, open "Pay" → "Payslips", and download any pay period as a PDF. Target pays bi-weekly on Friday.
Current Target employees
1.Sign in to Workday
Go to workday.target.com or install "Workday" from the App Store / Google Play (organization ID: target). Enter your team member ID and password.
2.Open the Pay app
On the Workday home screen, click the "Pay" application tile. This shows a summary of your current period plus prior stubs.
3.Select Payslips
Click "Payslips" to see the full list. Target retains 24 months of payslips online.
4.Download the PDF
Click any period and select "Print" or "Download". Payslips are IRS-ready and accepted by landlords, banks, and government forms.
Former Target employees
1.Workday access ends within days
Target deactivates Workday within 3–5 business days of separation. Access your final stub and download W-2 quickly if possible.
2.Contact the Team Member Service Center
Call 1-800-394-1885 with your TM ID, DOB, and SSN. Prior payslips can be emailed as PDFs.
3.W-2 through the alumni site
Target uses paperlessemployee.com/target for former team member W-2s. Log in with SSN and default PIN (last 4 SSN + 4-digit birth year MMYY).
Common problems
1.Do not know your team member ID
Printed on your name badge, on every payslip, and used at the time clock. Your Team Leader or Store Director can look it up.
2.Workday app organization ID
Use "target" (lowercase). If the app asks for a URL, use "myworkday.com/target".
3.MFA code not arriving
Target uses Okta for MFA. Verify your phone in Workday → Profile → Contact. If the number is old, call the TMSC to reset.
